HealthRhythms Group Drumming Sessions are drum circles that meet monthly on Thursdays in the Arizona Musicfest Community Room. Participants choose from a wide array of percussion instruments, and are invited to join facilitator Frank Thompson in improvising rhythms during the hour-long session. No experience required, rather sessions use the drums as a fun gateway activity to build community using recreational music making – simply put, making-music for joy, community and to let go of some stress. It’s for everyone, because anyone can drum!
